This exquisite pendant brooch embodies the elegance and sophistication of the Art Deco era. Crafted in platinum, it showcases a breathtaking assembly of 70 Old European cut diamonds, radiating a spectrum of H-K color and SI1-I1 clarity and totaling approximately 3.00 carats. These glittering diamonds are meticulously arranged in geometric patterns, featuring rectangular and square shapes that curve gracefully, echoing the era’s fascination with symmetry and balance.

Accentuating this dazzling array are French calibre cut synthetic blue sapphires, adding a rich contrast with their mesmerizing hue. During the 1920s-30s, natural sapphires were largely inconsistent in coloration and had many flaws. Synthetic sapphires were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts and were only available in luxury items. Set in platinum and paired with a 14K white gold chain, this work offers versatile wear as both a brooch and a pendant.
